DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
- More detailed development of the form and appearance of the building
- Investigation of alternative layouts to test relationships between spaces and organizations
- Liaison with other consultants where required to integrate building structure, services and any other specific requirements
- Possible discussions with the planning authority and other bodies such as utilities suppliers
- Advising on approximate construction costs or the use of a quantity surveyor to obtain more defined costs
- Preparation of the drawings and other information needed for the planning application
